How to properly attach the magnetic gauge holders to ensure accurate measurement and processing?

Magnetic gauge holders are an extremely important tool in the industrial measurement and positioning process. Through their unique design and functions, they can ensure the accuracy of measurement and processing. In order to give full play to the role of magnetic gauge holders, it is crucial to properly attach them to the surface of the workpiece.
1. Ensure the cleanliness and flatness of the workpiece surface
Before attaching the magnetic gauge holder, you first need to ensure that the surface of the workpiece is clean and flat. Any dust, oil or uneven surface may affect the adsorption effect of the magnetic base, thereby affecting the accuracy of the measurement. It is necessary to thoroughly clean the surface of the workpiece with appropriate cleaning agents and tools and check its flatness before attaching the magnetic gauge holder.
2. Choose a suitable magnetic base
The magnetic base of the magnetic gauge holder is usually made of strong permanent magnets and can be adsorbed on any smooth metal surface. When selecting a magnetic base, you need to consider the material and surface characteristics of the workpiece to ensure that the magnetic base can provide sufficient adsorption force. The size and shape of the magnetic base should also match the surface of the workpiece to ensure its stability and reliability.
3. Adjust the position of the magnetic gauge bracket
Before attaching the magnetic gauge bracket to the workpiece surface, you need to adjust its position and angle according to the measurement or processing requirements. The magnetic gauge bracket is usually equipped with an adjustable metal arm and a rotating handle, which can flexibly adjust its various movable parts. By rotating the handle, the clamping force can be continuously and adjustably adjusted to ensure the stability and accuracy of the magnetic gauge bracket on the workpiece surface.
4. Attach the magnetic gauge bracket
After completing the above preparations, you can attach the magnetic gauge bracket to the workpiece surface. Bring the magnetic base close to the workpiece surface to ensure that it is in close contact with the workpiece surface. Then, gently apply pressure to allow the magnetic base to adsorb on the workpiece surface. During the attachment process, you need to pay attention to keep the magnetic gauge bracket stable and avoid it from sliding or shifting.
5. Check and adjust
After attaching the magnetic gauge bracket, you need to check and adjust it to ensure its stability and accuracy on the workpiece surface. Check the adsorption effect of the magnetic base to ensure that it is in close contact with the workpiece surface and there is no looseness or sliding. Check the various moving parts of the magnetic gauge holder to ensure that the clamping force and angle meet the measurement or processing requirements.
